Uniquely designed by its owners David and Christine, the villa meets the special needs of families caring for those guests with physical disabilities including guests using wheelchairs. The villa offers privacy, peace and tranquility in a rural setting (albeit only 10 minute walk into the village). The villa accommodation and all facilities are on one level with extra wide 36 inch wide internal doors making it easy access and egress for wheelchair users. A specially designed bathroom serving bedrooms 2 & 3 has a ‘wheel-in’ shower room and all toiletry needs are specifically designed for wheelchair users in mind.
Although health and safety is a major priority for its owners, the responsibility for enjoying a healthy and memorable holiday will always rest with our guests and their carers. The swimming pool has eight broad steps gently leading into the swimming pool with hand rails on both sides.
The pool water is a constant 1.2 metre in depth. Therefore, although the pool is safe for swimming and general pool activities, diving isnot recommended or permitted.
